Default I hate to do it but 1987 944 for sale!!

I am going to bite the bullet and take offers on my 944 . I hate to take such a loss but I have been soo busy I have not had time to fix the it. The timing belt broke in may and it has been sitting at my mechanics shop waiting for me to buy a head. This is a tremendous deal for someone the car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically (Less the timing issue) the following is what all is wrong with the car

Timing belt broke needs head replacement

Drivers side door handle needs repair (Needs connecting rod pot metal piece handle is in tact common problem they are about 20.00 on e-bay)

Thats it!!

This is what it has working and added:

Boxster 17" wheels not replicas

Working A/C!

NewSunroof gears and seal new works well

Seats like brand new reupohlster before I bought it

carpet like new

New window tint

Sony Explode CD

new shifter leather boot

White face guages that are back lit

dash cap

New CV axles

New radiator (Car never ran hot stayed on cool even in Texas)

Clutch a little over a year old

New slave cylinder

Rebuilt control arms

remote entry (driver side only)

New door speakers (Plus have an extra set of PIoneers almost new Ill thro in)

About a dozen oil filters

I bought a Momo adapter and quck release hub and an after market steering wheel I didnt get to install

I have a K&N air filtert with hardware that I didnt get to install.

Ther is more I am missing I have receipts for almost all the work done above If you have any specific question please ask.

The car has about 110,000 miles on it. (the mileage is about 110,000 the 130,000 is the mileage on my cadillac sorry for the mix up.)

I have only had the car 10 months and hate to part with it but have teen that needs a car and have too many in drive now. I have over 5700.00 in the car with the purchase price would like to get as much as possible for it as it sits.

Help me out! Make an offer I have found a head for it and I have the timing belt. I just dont have time to mess with it. I would like to get a 951 some time the next year after I get my Teenager on the road.

Here is a link to my other post that has photos.

Thanx in advance.

I am willing to let it go for 2500.00 as I know it is close to x-mas and most peoples funds are short. I believe that to be great deal as I paid over 600.00 for the boxster twists. This car is too nice to part out.

Damn...damn ...damn. You have to be in TX. Is the head toast or just the valves?

I've repaired many a 944 where the timing belt had broken. Most of the time I was able to work with a local shop that replaced the valves and resurfaced for <$300 as there was no actual head damage. With a new TB, balance belt and head gasket I could repair it in a weekend. 12 hrs and ~$500 later and it was as good as new.

Just the valves my mechanic says. Yes I am in Texas seems like that is what is holding this sale up?? Most people interested seem to be from elswhere. I can be easily shipped but then again it adds to the cost. I appreciate you looking and inquiring. I hope I can find a buyer soon other wise may end up on e-bay and more than likely be parted out by the new buyer. Too nice a vehicle for that!
