2005 Ford F-250 XLT, Diesel, Auto tranny 9K miles
Well, if you guys are looking for a towing machine this is your chance to steal one:
I have moved to Canada and I have all shorts of problems trying to finance the truck... So the truck has 9K miles only its the XLT model BUT its a towing machine! It has ALL the options for towing, the diesel engine, the auto tranny, the towing package, upgraded suspension for heavy towing, 17" wheels LT tires etc. I have also installed a Clifford 2 way alarm with proximity sensors, a DVD Audiovox player and upgraded Pioneer speakers in the stock locations.
Its Champagne in colour with beige cloth interior.
The truck is a cherry and I'm loosing a ton of money, but have no choise really.
Its located in Texas near Houston.
I'm asking 32.5K.
Please PM me here or Rennlist if you are interested. I'd rather see it go on a Rennlister than a random person on ebay...

I have a twin to Danny's truck and I can tell you that these are great trucks...both for every day driving and towing. These are great trucks.
I've also seen Danny's truck and if I didn't already have one...I'd be buying. It's a great truck.

Danny, I don't understand why you can't bring it into Canada..
You own it, but the bank has a leins on it right? Can't you bring it over and just keeping paying the bank in the states?

So unless someone lends me the amount I owe in Canada, then I have to sell it...

Danny,
Why won't a Canadian bank lend you the money? http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/lending/paal.jsp http://www.rbcroyalbank.com/RBC:Q@ya...car-loans.html
If that doesn't work i bet your new employer has a banking relationship and could help arrange it for you.

Hmmm...I have not thought about my new employer....good idea, I will check with him! As for the banks...I have everything with TD including my mortgage. They told me that unless the car is in Canada there is nothing they can do. They can give me a credit line, but it not enough to buy the truck unfortunately. I also called RBC , HSBC and a couple of credit unions but the same deal... Now if my new boss has some good pull
THANKS for the idea Greg!

Danny,
Kevin, one of my best friends is an underwriter for TD bank here in Vancouver, and a fellow rennlister/968 owner. I'll ask him if he can find out anything for you.. maybe there's a way we can swing it.

Danny,
I see what your situation is. You can't get the truck to Canada (legally) without having the loan with a Candian bank, but you can't get a loan in Canada without the truck being there.
Do you still own property in the US? Maybe do a Home Equity line.
I bet your boss will be able to help you out if you dont have any other avenues. Even if it is just for a few months until you can get a loan for yourself.
Just thought of something else. Do you have money in an IRA? You can cash enough out to pay off the loan and deposit it back within 60 days with no penalty. Disclaimer : Do not take my word that this is an absolute, please double check with your accountant before proceeding.
