Sorry to C2 turbo for the refund, we did give a few people a free entry this year but you have to understand that the $100 extra for Marylynns row was given to the American Cancer Society and a few dollars to the Humane society so the money is gone. there is no money to refund and if we give everyone that cancels free admission we wont meet our goals this year. After 7 years in Oxford we figured it was time for a new location. Obviously moving the event wont make everyone happy but it makes other people glad we moved it. Oxford gave us a really hard time last year and with only around 50% of the people returning it was time to move on. Granville is a great city and we have a central hotel location at $40 les per night than most in Oxford and even from Indy you are looking at a little over 1-1/2 hours further drive. Friday night we have a get together at the 200 year old Buxton inn with free appetizers complements of MORPCA. We have an area reserved for the Rennlist Crowd, hope you all can attend.

Hey, Ron,
Thanks for joining here. We have about 14 right now and you've seen the plan. I have your cell number and will call you when we start out from the elementary school. Thanks for the help with parking....this should be fun.

Hey looking forward to things. My family enjoys Porsches as well but may need a few distractions along the way. Has anyone found anything fun for the wife and kids (3/6) that's close to Granville that they can go check out?
I know about The Wilds...http://www.thewilds.org/. I'll probably head over there Sunday with them. Anything else? Thanks in advance!!

The Columbus Zoo is supposed to be nice.
I have upgraded my registration to the M-row. However, we will not get there till 9a, as we live near Akron and will be taking the scenic route thru Mt. Vernon.
Security question: I'd like to leave my top and windows down. I have a roadster bag in the car. Can I expect it to be there at the end of the day?

Kevin,
We'll be in by then but please come by and introduce yourself.
I think this is a pretty Porsche-friendly crowd, though I don't have a straigt answer for you. I do recall seeing lots of folks with windows open and stuff in the car so my sense is that the stuff would be safe in that crowd.
You might contact Ron Thomas through the P2O web site and check with him. He'll give you the "not responsible..." but you could ask about history of thefts.
If it were me, I'd lock it in the storage area up front--will it fit there? Or you could bring it over to our area to see if someone will hold it for you.

Kevin,
I tried that idea on Ron and addressed that in an earlier post. Unfortunately with the sequential way they park, and the need to optimize all the available space, they are very careful to effect the correct spacing..not too close, not too far (the Goldilocks approach). So for that reason they are unwilling to let me stake out a space for a late arrival. Sorry.
And as far as that bag is concerned, you're welcome to store it in my car until I depart after lunch.
