Hey guys just got back from Luft 6 at the Universal Studios backlot.....very cool venue, GREAT cars, crappy iPhone pics from a worse photographer.... Enjoy!!!
This was a very cool pre-A with an extremely nice owner. He offered to let me open the door and sit in it if I wanted and take pics, I just took pics!
His dad bought the car new and hated that the metal dash always burned him so he made one of WOOD! I don't know if he still has the metal dash, I didn't think to ask as the story just blew me away and I started taking pics of the dash.
This one holds a special place in my heart. I graduated High School in '83. This is an '83 SC in Garnet Red. We naively called it "Porsche Plum" back then. It was and quite possibly still is my ideal 911, the one that gave me the dream.....
For my brother and I this was the car of the show. I am lusting after a 356 right now and this is just beyond for me. My little brother (whom I had to talk like a dutch uncle to get him to attend this show with me) actually took pics of this car and sent it to a few friends..... he also makes a cameo in the last photo...... (for me it was this and the Irish Green Carrera 2)
