Brought over the clear markers? That's some dedication!
I've been watching the weather... hope it clears up, as I'm spoiled by the sunshine that I've been getting in Glasgow and want to hit the ring next week before I need to go back to Leipzig.
Hope we can cross paths...

Wow - you're quick, posting real time! We just got back a week ago - such a great trip - enjoy!
And if you're not a niners fan, I'd happily swap your plates for my S-19F plates I must have been 30 before you.

Drove out Friday morning onto the Autobahn from Stuttgart up to Nürburg. Piece of cake. No traffic jams. Only a few spots of construction with reduced speed. Nearly all the way it was posted at 130 kph, but some folks would be going 200. I managed to hit 210. At delivery I was told to vary the RPMs and keep it under 5k for the first 1k kilometers. Which I did. However, I arrived here with only 380 km on the odometer.
I had intended to use Apple maps on my iPhone, but instead used the navigation in the car, as I liked how it used the display in the dash to highlight an upcoming turn. A nice visual prompt, especially on unfamiliar roads.
I arrived at the 'Ring around 10:30 AM, way ahead of schedule. First stop was the viewing area at Brunnchen I, aka YouTube corner. It was damp, cool, with heavy clouds. Gran Turismo was on the second and final day of their track event. Next stop was in front of a familiar sign:
Then it was over to Manthey for an alignment and pad & fluid change. I had shipped over the items, but once they'd arrived, they laughed when telling me they are the largest Endless dealer in Germany. Oh well. Better safe than sorry. Note her big sister on the lift behind:

Ha! I have fans.
Yesterday was my first day on track. I managed a 10:16 on my 5th and final lap of the day. There were 3 yellows that lap, and half of the lap was in the rain.
I took a ride this morning with Theo in the 991 GT3 RS Ring Taxi. Oh! My!! God!!!
Immediately after Theo took me out, I went by myself and naturally went a wee bit faster:
I'm not even pushing yet. I'm still getting a feel for everything (especially my braking points and gears).
The weather gods are smiling on the Green Hell today.
