Epic European Delivery Adventure!

I was scheduled for 3 track days at Spa-Francorchamps. However, I swapped the first day in order to stay one more day at the Nordschleife. The event organizer was trackdays.de. First let me say that a track day here in Europe is nothing like the USA. The drivers meeting was about 10 minutes long. It was an 'open pitlane' which means that there were no run groups or sessions. And no corner worker breaks or track going cold for lunch.
Unfortunately, the weather was typical - mostly rain, sometimes hard rain, a brief glimpse of sun, but mostly spitting rain that kept the track damp in some of the shaded corners.
I found the spread of talent and machine to be huge. Not unlike a private track day at home. The cars ranged from Cup cars and Mclarens to Suzuki Swifts. Not everyone was watching their mirrors. The rain made it really tricky, as certain corners were as slick as ice.
There were 2 track closures by the time I departed around 3 PM. A couple of cars hit the barriers.

Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland, bonjour Belgium!
It was a pretty easy drive from Nürburg to Spa-Francorchamps. However it rained on and off the entire way. And when it rained, I mean it bucketed. So hard I could barely see and had to ease up. My well worn MPSC2s kept me out of the barrier, but I did aquaplane a few times.
When I arrived, it was clear (but it had surely rained during the day) and I could hear the thunder of cars accelerating out of the La Source hairpin and up through Eu Rouge. I almost wished I'd stuck to my original plan.

These wraps are getting out of hand. I saw a couple that were intended to make the car look dirty and/or abused. I saw a GT3 RS with a camouflage wrap. Now this...

There were some fearsome cars out there...
The Clubsport was quick and very well driven. He passed me on several occasions and I simply could not hang with him.
I spent a few minutes talking to the driver of the white Cup car. He was blazing fast. I managed to pass the green & white Cup car, so obviously he was on an installation lap, or had some problem.
