Default No protective wrap upon Stateside delivery?

I did a quick ED in March to accept the car but did not drive it away from the factory in Zuffenhausen. I’ve been tracking it’s progress with the AirTag I placed in it at the time. It finally arrived at my dealer today after spending 2 weeks a the Jacksonville port. It’s the first I’ve seen without any protective wrap, etc. I was expecting to do what I’ve seen on several YT clips with unzipping the white cover and peeling off the protective wrap in various places. Anyone else receive one without all the protection?

No, locally (Germany) delivered cars have no protective packaging.

Sad, waste of an ED slot. Color looks stunning.

Thanks on the color. Yeah it was a condition from my dealer to do the ED but no ADM. Having just had my first heart attack a few weeks prior and no family members able to join me it was indeed a waste of what could have been. Happy to join the Porsche family though.

The GT cars are shipped with all the wrapping UNLESS you do ED. After ED it is then shipped however you dropped it off, in my case usually covered in bugs and tire rubber from track days

No wonder we can’t find ED slots.

Youtube views are ruined no zipper video.

Will drive 1000 miles and end up on BAT

Can you not drive after a heart attack?

ED team should seriously add a min amount of KM driven necessary to go with the max. If you don’t hit the min, you pay the VAT.

Totally agree. This was how I dropped mine off.

I’ll happily give up the wrapping for the ED experience.

Although I have seen those unwrap videos, that would have been fun…

The color is awesome. And I wish I had the option to not pay ADM and take ED (which I did anyway). I am happy to hear you recovered from your heart attack and can forgive you for foregoing the driving part of the ED....
