Also I'm assuming that these days PAG wants to be certain that the car is built and will be finished and ready for pick up likely before DocuSign "stage"? Even my SA warned me to hold off on booking anything non-refundable until 4/1 which is a milestone date/status for my car under the PVMS even though I'm locked in, so I bet likely tied in with that... very fluid situation
Will update as soon as anything develops, after 2 ED cancellations in the last 2 years due to Covid fingers are crossed...

Reviving this thread for a question!
My GT4 is completed and received the update on MyPorsche/TYD. It is a European Delivery, but no dates confirmed yet. I am hearing some say their ED has been recently cancelled, so I reached out to Joey at PCNA and he informed me that Leipzig is now also limited because of several events scheduled there for the next few months. So now I'm possibly looking at May or June at the earliest for any availability in either location.
If my ED isn't cancelled, how do they handle the car sitting for 5-6 months? I know it is a warehouse, but do they attend to the cars for maintenance sake? Surely the cars are started and rotated each month?

There are many thousands of cars that get stored for some period of time either awaiting transport, parts, certification, etc. No they don't start and rotate them (obviously). They are cars and fine to sit. The last RS I picked up sat for 4 months before I got it, and those were winter months. No issues.

Where do they store the cars for 2-3 months? Inside or outside?
