Just heard from the dealer, and confirmed by Atlanta ED. Dealers have been instructed to delete this option from all orders until further notice. Reported cause is inability to predict production so stand by for delivery delays.

Not sure if stateside PEC is affected.

I am very, very sad today.

Yes this is super sad day for me as well! I also have a targa 4s with ED delivery scheduled for Oct 19 then moved to Nov 9th now cancelled indefinitely:((((. My son was going to take 10 days off work to join me on this awesome adventure, I guess I will just have to order another one for a 2023/24 pickup! lol
But at least we have amazing cars coming our way!

I was requesting a Late March delivery and still got canceled so it looks like it’s going to stick for a while. I’m hoping that something changes but may just rent a Porsche since I already have tickets (long story).

Where are you renting from? I'm considering this as well.

I believe some SixT locations rent 911’s in Germany. Heavily restricted on how many KM’s you can drive etc. I ended up renting some little Mercedes SL thing instead as there wasn’t a mileage restriction.
