If you don't mind a little drive, I use AO DETAIL in Pennsauken, NJ. Owner's name is Nick. He's a very good guy.

I think that was me! I seen a 993 and Cayman when turning into Fabspeed. Pretty cars!

I may have driven there so fast I blew the dirt off

Not sure if you are willing to take a ride to Lancaster. However, one of the best PPF shops - got my GT3 fully wrapped there in XPEL. Would highly recommend. PM me if interested in contact info.

Hello!

I am sorry to hear this! Although both Nigel and myself (Nick Oakes) don't recall speaking with or meeting anyone in person at our facility with a black 991 in the recent past, did you stop by with a different vehicle? Not sure who you spoke with, and would love to know! Also, no such thing as pedestrian vehicles here, if you made it inside you would have seen that there are several other Porsches here in process - a trio of GT3s, two Carreras (996 and 997), a Turbo and Panamera here at the moment.

Would happily encourage a re-visit to meet myself or Nigel, as we are the only ones here who would be authorized to evaluate a vehicle. Hopefully I can get the opportunity to reverse your experience and assess the car properly, as our pricing is very much on par with similar skill sets in the country. I would certainly be wary of significantly cheaper options. Feel free to message me directly on here or call/email the shop! Plenty of Rennlisters, quite a few in this thread, can vouch for our work. Hope to hear from you!

I've had four cars done by Oakes and I've been very pleased with the work. Compared to some of the crazy paint correction and PPF prices I read that some Rennlisters are paying (usually shows up in the "for sale" thread), I think Nick's prices are reasonable.

Here are a few pics from wegmans in Malvern today. They have good donuts and also sell sahlens hotdogs which everyone should buy a pack and grill up. Forgive the two VW pics, but they are spektrum color golf R (I thought about getting on in reseda green) which I really dig. Talked the owner of the viper green metallic one with APR goodies. Nice guy. I did not get to meet the other GT3 touring owner but did admire the car. 👍

Malvern C&C is pretty much a Saturday ritual for me at this point.

It was really worth the drive up. It would have been worth it just to drive up and street park (there was plenty of street parking) and walk around if you were not selected for a display spot.

The bright green GTI - did you happen to notice it that was a wrap or paint?

It’s paint. Viper Green Metallic. A rare VW spektrum golf R. VW offered 40 colors for $2500 extra. Almost ordered a reseda green, but did not.

That's amazing - did not know that! I'm looking to add a Mk7 to the stable and that's one of my favorite colors.
