Cool New Member Introduction - DC

Hey Folks! New to the Rennlist and the Porsche community. Still in the research phase learning more about the cars and looking to purchase one. Just joined Rennlist and wanted to introduce myself. Based out of Washington DC. Would love to learn more about the community in the DC area. Historically been a M3 guy. So far I'm leaning towards a 964. Any recommendations on local shops that would have experience with them would be appreciated!

Thanks for reading!
Veh

Welcome, and good luck on your search! Come out to Katie's Cars and Coffee if you get the chance. It's super early morning on Saturdays, but there are a lot of guys there with good knowledge who can help point you in the right direction.

Welcome vehday....this place will be a great resource for you...also check out dokiphus.net for local DMV pcar info. If you are looking for a specific opinion on the 964, I recommend going to the specific vehicle page.

Default Bought a 1990 C2 Targa

Thanks for the welcome folks! So over the holidays I picked up a 90 C2 Targa (tan on black). Hoping to get it tagged and titled this week or next. Looking forward to the warmer weather!

@cotmfk thanks for the info! I will definitely come out one Saturday morning. Is there anyway to find out if people are going to actually come? What time is super early .

@carlosvmata I will go through dorkiphus. I would love to meet some more local 964 owners.

I come by every weekend to Katie's, I usually show up at around 7:30. That's when things start heating up IMO. Hopefully I'll see you around!

Heard a lot of good things about it but have never been able to get down there. If the weather holds up I'm definitely going to be there in the coupe

I'd love to get out to Katie's sometime soon, definitely now that the weather is breaking.
