Folks,

If anyone is around and interested, I'd be up for doing a drive tomorrow morning (Saturday Sept 5). Here is my plan:

Starting point: My house -- 170 Lake Road, Far Hills, NJ 07931

Starting time: Meet at 8 am -- depart my house at 8:30 am (Sorry -- no refreshments this time -- you are on your own for food and drink)

Drive Length: 1 1/2 hours or so

If you are interested, just pm me to let me know. No minimum number of cars -- I'll probably take a little jaunt even if it is just me. :-)

Well, I already have one "yes" so I will not be alone on this drive.

 

Tentatively a yes for me, will let you know by tonight. Route?

 

I haven't mapped out a route yet, but probably Far Hills, Bedminster, Tewksbury, Peapack, Gladstone, Chester area

 

I am 95% yes this time. Plan to go to the beach later tomorrow so I need to confirm what time we plan on leaving.
Will have a definite later.

We will not run late because I have to leave for Atlantic City at noon. We'll be done by 10 am at the latest.

 

I might be able to join......we're leaving at 1:30pm for a wedding in midtown NY so as long as we're done by around 11AM that might work !

Will check with the SO as she will have to give her blessing (!) and let you know.

Looks like 5 or 6 of us as of now. We'll take some beautiful, curvy country roads -- should be nice.

 

Oh, and for those of you who have not been to my house. I live on 18 acres and the house -- a red brick Georgian colonial -- is sort of in the middle of it. You'll see a black mailbox with 170 on it. Coming from Route 202 on Lake Road, you will be turning right between 2 large stone pillars, going over a metal cattle guard. Follow the driveway back about 1/4 mile and you'll loop around to the front of the house. If you see a cow on the driveway (really), honk and they will move. You'll see my red Ferrari Daytona in front of the house.

Thank you for hosting ! What a beautiful morning ! It was also a beautiful ride with a bunch of really great cars !!

The sound of the 365 is still stuck in my head ! And Damian and Raj...your cars are.....well...I can only hope that next year when I do start to look for a 968 that I find one as nice as your cars !
