Let me double check with my wife, but I believe we'll be there. Former P-car owner, but RS4 now. Out to the street I go...

Hello people,

I had my timing belts changed a little over 2k miles ago.

My mechanic told me that they need to be re-tensioned (tightened) after about

1500 miles of driving. Anyone out there willing to do the job for me?

I have a big warehouse I can use to keep the vehicle.

Hopefully some of you are willing to work for beer.

Let me know, we can work something out.

Car: 87' 944 Turbo
Location: Northern VA...Sterling, VA...Fairfax, VA...(the warehouse is in sterling)

You may be better off creating a new thread with an accurate title, in the 944 forums.

Ya I hear you on that. I actually posted a thread in the "East US Region"

thinking in terms of finding someone local.

If I put it in the 944 thread, people could be located from all over...

thx

A good local place to post for help is at www.dorkiphus.net

A lot of friendly DYI local to NVA are on that site. Good luck.
