I noticed that a thread about this run was created on 6speedonline opening this event up to other car makes. If you guys want to have more exotics in the pack, another good place to post information would be the Florida forum of FerrariChat.com. I'll leave it to the organizers to decide whether they want to do that.

Show your appreciation by coming along and bringing at least two other cars, in addition to yours. I've got a bud with a Boxster and a guy from my art department in his Z coming along.
I'll take pics and video and write an article on the run - and the ones to follow - for the Gold Coast PCA region's newsletter. So come along and be famous. We can do these on a quarterly basis - at least.

It's a Nissan 350Z. My art director is threatening to come along on his Ducati, but I doubt that he really would do it.
I posted the thread on 6speed - so far it's garnered a little bit of activity. Those guys tend to spend way too much time talking about their watches than their cars, but some of the guys are ok.

For the undecided / maybe guys, please let us know by Monday Nov. 6
if you are going to join us. Also, If anyone else has been thinking about coming and has not posted, please make your decision by
Nov. 6 and post or PM me.
I have 19 seats reserved at the Marriott and can only increase the
number by this date deadline. Again, the breakfast buffett is
open from 7:00am to 10:30am, however the restaurant manager has
agreed to keep it open to our group until 11:30 because we have
come there 3 years in a row. So if we're a little late, this helps out
tremendously,
Here are the official meeting points and times:
Ft. Lauderdale:
I-595 and Flamingo Rd.
There is a Mobil Station on the NE corner (most of us have meet there before)
Time: 8:00am
Depart: 8:15am (promptly!)
The Lauderdale group should arrive at the Miami meeting point by
8:30am - 8:45am.
Miami
Snapper Creek Service plaza on the Turnpike, mile marker 19.
Time: 8:30am
Depart: 8:45am
Pedro will be there in his white 993 cab or
Finn in his red 993 coupe
The above times are guidelines, however I know there may be delays
as CaptB412 noted, such as traffic, cops etc.
Once we are all together, we will head south on the turnpike and
as MJspeed suggested, go into the Keys via Card Sound road.
Card sound has a toll of $1.00, however it is the fastest and safest
compared to US1.
Rooms:
Since we only had 1 person interested in a room, we could not
get a discounted rate. The rate for Nov. 11 is $199.00 for a
garden view room. They will discount starting at 5 rooms.
If anyone has any more suggestions or comments please
feel free to post.
The next and last update will be on Wed. Nov 8.

So here's the deal - Viperbob is installing my PSS9s (yes!) on Friday the 10th. Assuming the car is back together by Friday night, I will definitely be coming on the drive

I really hope I can make it to the meeting point in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm scheduled to land at 6AM in Miami so we'll see if I have enough time to take one of them out to see you guys drive off.....
