Hey , I live in Pembroke Pines and would love to join you all with my son on the Key Largo run. Is the Mobil station on Flamingo and 595 at 8:30 the definite meeting spot?

You'll be paying huuuuuuuuge amounts of Mexican pesetos if you don't show up (I know Mexican wrestlers get paid big time but you'll be in trouble)!

I want to repeat what Nacho, I mean Rico said:
You need to be at Ft. Lauderdale meeting point 8 am, and 8.30 at Miami meeting point.
This is not "Cuban/Miami Time", it actually means 8 am & 8.30 am. So, pretty please with sugar on thop, show up in time & no excuses!

8:30am for Miami? And I already thought 9am was too early. Asking me to get up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning to meet at 9 or 7:00 to meet at 8:30 is harsh. I definitely want to attend this, but I honestly I'd be surprised if I sobered up by 8am after a Friday night here in South Beach. =P

How about next year we make it after the Holidays...like early Jan or something. That way us SNOWBIRDS will be down there, and we can come up from SW Florida...like Naples!

We have Rico to thank for this run. A bunch of us were talking at Hooter's last month about some kind of GTG, and Rico suggested dusting off the Islamorada Run. He posted it, made the cool sticker, and is following up to make sure we're all on the same page in terms of where and when to meet. Show your appreciation by coming along and bringing at least two other cars, in addition to yours. I've got a bud with a Boxster and a guy from my art department in his Z coming along.
I'll take pics and video and write an article on the run - and the ones to follow - for the Gold Coast PCA region's newsletter. So come along and be famous. We can do these on a quarterly basis - at least.
