Huge car show type meet (Hundreds) of cars. Everything from the classics to modern exotics. From hot rods & muscle cars to supped up rice burners. Happens every Friday night, but trying to have a large Porsche presence on June 2nd. Good place to walk around and socialize with fellow car enthusiasts.
Starts at 6:00PM and peaks at about 9:00PM, the early birds get the better parking spots. Parking is $1.00 if you park within the corral (Usually grouped by make, model, or era), Free parking throughout the mall, & $5 if you're trying to sell your ride.

Look for the row of Porsches. I'll be in the Slate 997S

Is the Tower Shops the strip center where Home Depot and Costco are located?

I believe it is behind the Costco. There's a Miami Subs and a Linen-N-things there, as well. I think there's also an Outback steakhouse near the entrance. Tower Shops is located on the east side of University Drive just south of I-595.

Hard to miss with the huge amounts of cars rolling in.

I was there - Friday at 9pm. I had to go to that center's Office Depot to pick up a new laptop for the WereWife. At that point it was mostly a bunch of neon-equipped rice burners and a few NASCAR wannabees. There were 3 BMWs off to the side, but no P-cars at all. Maybe it gets better later at night. I'll check it out on June 2.

Believe it or not, 9:00PM is atcually a bit late for Towers. Typically, by that time most people have made plans and head out for a drive & to grab a bite. The latest I have personally stayed was close to 9 and mostly because a few of us decided to buy a pizza (at the mall).

Anyway, that's one of the reasons I wanted spread the word and posted a thread, in order to build P-car attendance. There is also a post on a BMW forum which usually gets a good turn out.

Hey fellows... Looks like the forecast is predicting T-storms tomorrow afternoon. If that's the case, we may postpone until next week.

Hey Guys... Sorry I couldn't make it to meet those of you that showed. I receive sweet tickets at the last minute for the Heat last night... couldn't pass up. WOW, what a game!

Probably go within the next couple of weeks or depending on the weather.

How is the P-car attendance coming along? I live in Palm Beach but work down that way...might be able to join up with the group.

Ok fine - you sounded like you were having waaaay too much fun, so I just bought a 996. Let me know if there'll be a meet this coming Friday and I'll be there. For that matter - if there's anything going on locally, lemme know, pleaase.
