Lightbulb NO STREET RACING IN FL

Well, not only is FL trying to pass the "street race = loose your car" law, but now the FHP is using undercover new Mustangs on the road.

They actually showed in car footage of a guy in a Mustang GT racing with them and the nthe lights come on.

Guy gets pulled over, pulled out of car and put in cuffs. All while in a shirt and tie!!

Got him at about 115mph on one of the interstates.

Or reckless endangerment on the officer's part.

If the cops are instigating the race the COPS should go to jail.

That is ridiculous... you guys are spot on - it is close to being entrapment, and is probably reckless endangerment on part of the cops.

If I were less responsible, I'd remove my license plate, take their bait, and lead one of those "officers" to an onramp and watch him fly into a ditch trying to follow me

(Not that I respect street racers, I think it's pathetic - but the principle of entrapment pisses me off)

I had one of those FHP Mustangs hiding behind other cars just waiting for me to go fast. He fallowed me on the Turnpike for about 10 miles and then he got off with me on Commercial and when there were no cars around he came next to me and reved his engine!! He had his radar on all the time and that was the only way I could tell that he was FHP. Later at a light he put the light on and pulled over a ricebox that was going pretty fast. This was last week, now this week I saw many unmarked cars on 95 that had cars pulled over around Boca. It's getting bad. 27 is still the place for testing.

If he actually revved his engine I would have loved to been there, with video camera rolling and smoked his ***, then when he had me pulled over let him watch the video of him intising a street race, taking part in a street race and thus reckless driving with possible criminal intent, if the speeds were fast enough.
