Hey Dave... Some of the roads you mentioned are my daily drivers
I live in Monroe, NY & work in Ramsey, NJ..
On the days I drive the 944 I run Lakes Rd. from Monroe to Greenwood Lk. Left on 17A over the mountain into Sterling Forest.. then a right onto Long Meadow Rd. (IBM and Sterling Lake - This road is GREEAATT) then left at the end taking me into Sloatsburg, onto 17S to 287 the again onto 17S into NJ.. Great run and I am thankful to be able to drive it a couple of days a week..

Awesome roads. I've found that one of the best is the Warwick trnpke into the Greenwood lake turnpike. Great twisties low traffic and for the most part no place for speed traps!

this thread really died quickly. So in hopes of bringing it back I'm pledging a bear mountain run in April let's set a date.

I would say late May the reaon being is that April has more chances of being rained out.

I would be interested as well. We could set a date in April with a "rain date" in May...

I'm in for a sunday drive. The bear mountain run seems kind of short for most of us, personally I'm only about 25 minutes from there so I think we'll need to plan somewhere else as a destination. Any ideas?
