I need to take tires off from my BBS e88s, so I can rebuild them and repaint centers. Looking for a quality tire shop that won't damage the wheels. Thx

I've never had multi piece wheels, but I assumed you could just take them apart to mount and dismount.

Did you get sorted? Who did you use and how did it go?

 

RSW in Green Brook destroyed 3 of my 4 brand new NISMO wheels on my GTR. Their tire machine malfunctioned 3 times. Wouldn’t have been so bad if they only destroyed 1 of them. They first offered to replace them, but then told me they had someone local that “would repair it as if nothing happened”. I was able to tell and their paint was chipping from the center of the wheel where the cap goes. They tried blaming it on me and stopped responding to emails.

 

Sal's Autoworks in Butler NJ. They have never let me down.

 

That's unfortunate. They're usually very good about customer service. I've used them and have been happy with them.

 

Yikes. Not good.

 

Tire and Wheel Performance Center in Ridgewood NJ has never let me down either.
