Top down and everything! Well done. Hoping to get out around New Years if the roads are washed clear of Murphy's brine.

Can’t do today unfortunately. Definitely looking for the drive once weather normalizes!

Beware. It looks like Somerset County already brined the county roads in response to the snowfall forecast for overnight. Glad I got out yesterday for a bit.

Not too much time on my hands today but I am definitely getting out for a quick spin. My car was dropped off on a 10 degree morning last month and I haven’t driven it since then. It’s been 5 months since being behind the wheel of a Porsche which is entirely too long (my last one flooded in Irma).

I imagine the brine is still aggressive even if it dries on the road?

yes the brine is there but minimal and just needed to feel the road and hear the engine speak. Now off to the hand car wash

cheers

I think if it's 100% dry and not splashing up into the chassis, it's probably fine. I would still hose off the undercarriage if it were me as that powdery residue tends to stick to everything and gets kicked up from the tires.

My Spyder is still hibernating. I have been too busy getting ready for the track season with my race car. Doing final preps tomorrow. Definitely looking forward to the drives soon!
