Default Dealer/Shop recommendation for maintenance in/around NOVA

Have some general maintenance I need to get done on a Cayman GT4 and want a shop that does good work and respects the car. Have worked with Tysons Porsche and IMA but looking for somewhere else.

I've used these guys for various things and cars, always very reasonable.

I've used ASG in Fairfax.

Auto Haus in Yorktown has worked on my 993 for many years. Everything from mounting tires to dropping the engine and changing the clutch. In fact, I saw a Cayman GT4 in for a DE tech inspection last month. I've tried Checkered Flag in VA Beach, Porsche in Richmond, and Stuttgart Service in Williamsburg. Auto Haus is my recommendation.

+1 have had very good experiences there. Especially as compared the other Indy mentioned in your post.

I'm sure ASG does good work, but every time I've asked them for a quote for basic services, it has been astronomical. Like $450 for an alignment and $1350 for water pump install, labor only. Sucks because I live a mile down Gallows from them.

By any chance your GT4 is blue/purple? I see one running around West Ox road from time to time.

Agree that ASG charges an arm and leg for everything. You may want to try RRT (Road Race Technologies). They are the premier tuning group for BMWs, but now they're getting into the late model Porsches. They've done suspension work on my car.

But whatever you do, stay away from IMA.

Reviving the thread for any other Porsche shop recommendations in the NoVA area. Has anyone used Autobahn in Fairfax?

@Motorama... What kind of maintenance work do you need on your GT4?
