Didn’t know there was a race tonight. I think I missed the window. I would join through the league sessions tab, right?

I think the big difference between the Sprints and the Ultimates is the amount of brake force that each will take. The Ultimates can be set up to accept almost double the braking force of the Sprints? That and the tuning software that comes with the Sprints. It is simple and very quickly sets up all three pedals. I am very, very happy with the Sprints and the setup allows me to mimic our car's very stiff brake pedal (CS/MR). I have been looking at the Heusinkveld website a couple times a day. I'll send along a note if I see the Sprints in stock. Or maybe it would be best to just immediately order a set. Pretty sure someone would be happy to take them off my hands and I could do a good deed for another Rennlister!

Thanks! Peter actually wrote a script to check, and I seem to have the email notification working. We have issues.

It was fun using the Unix "vi" editor again -- first time in a couple of decades -- so wonderfully cryptic, but the most efficient editing interface in existence once the cobwebs clear (yes, we have serious issues )

And they are back out of stock. Looks like they just release them 1 by 1 as they are built and you need to grab them immediately. I was able to get a 3 pedal set seconds after the script alert, but then they were immediately out of stock again.

That is the only explanation. At least we seem to have got ours.

Would it it be wrong for me to sleep with mine while I await my other parts from sim lab??

I have NOT tried this monitor, but when I researched before for a 144hz 27", this Acer seems to be very good based upon reviews and very cheap -- 144hz, 1ms -- $175.99 (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16824011127). I would pick up one (locally if possible) to try it out before ordering 3.

i am going to research a 2k version of this. I was told I should be able to drive 3 2k monitors with my ti card.

Glad you caught that. In my haste, I had accidentally linked to the 75hz version, the 144hz version (still 1080p) is here: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16824011157 for $249. I had one of these in house a couple of months ago, but wasn't able to test it for reasons too complicated to explain.

I'd be careful about going higher resolution. With all detail enabled in iRacing, our 1070 Graphics doesn't find driving even a single 1080p projector a walk in the park (in fact, I'm headed to MicroCenter this afternoon to address this). From what I understand from research only, not from direct experience since we don't have triples, 144hz refresh is more important than resolution. It seems like 144hz 1080p was more of the sweet spot (than 2k monitors) for not overburdening the graphics processor in iRacing, particularly when running 3 monitors. Hopefully somebody with more direct experience will chime in to either confirm that or to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm always hesitant to comment about something I haven't tested directly, but since I did do quite a bit a research, I want to pass it along for what it's worth.

Refresh vs resolution makes sense to me. I think you also want NVIDIA or and frame locking. The monitors above use the Amd tech. The NVIDIA tech is called sync or Somme such.

I was blind but now I see ... ===> https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

^^^^^^^^^^^^ (recommended by MicroCenter)

Great monitoring tool above!! Free version of HWmonitor tells you a lot. CPU / Graphics % utilization, CPU temperature overall and per core, voltages, graphics temp, clock rates, RPMs for every fan, etc.

Have been having random stuttering issues -- 95 percent of the time it's fine, but then it's starts stuttering and it's been impossible to see what is causing it. CPU and Graphics card were not maxed out, but CPU temps are quite high around 100C, graphics card temps only 50C. I suspect that the temperature problem could be fixed by a refresh of the CPU paste, but liquid cooling going in on Monday.

HWMonitor is running on a separate 7" Raspberry Pi HDMI monitor to make it possible to see detailed CPU/Graphics stats in realtime while iRacing is on the main monitor.

Time for some liquid cooling!!! Real liquid cooling, not those all in one kits. I've done 3 builds with XSPC kits, and have gotten some good overclocks with a ton of temp head room.
