2 hours is the minimum I can buy, so I would just move the whole session earlier. It's really just the 40 minutes for qual and race that is the critical part. I'm hoping that most people are practiced up for the race and that the practice session is just like a lounge for people to drop in before qualifying to adjust to the weather and get warmed up and small talk or smack talk.

I guess the question is not when do you want to start, but when do you want to finish.

You're being a great sport about thus Justin, thanks.

Sessions are locked at 2, 4, or 6 hours. From there the time is split between practice, qualifying, and the race. You do not have to join at the start to do the race, you just have to be in the session before the race starts. Right now we have 80 minutes of practice, so qualifying should start around 9:50 with a race time of 10:05p, ending at 10:30p.

We were running an earlier start but we had a few members join from the west coast that were having trouble making the event. Our current schedule puts the session starting at 8:30 (est) which puts our west coast racers at a 5:30pm start time. I'm fine with starting anywhere from 7-8:30p (est) so post up what works best for you. I'm sure we can come up with a time that suits everyone better.

+1 Thank you for dealing with all the setup/configuration, and then the requests to make changes.

Looks like we are going to have the default paint schemes, TradingPaints.com looks to be down, maybe updating or something.

Thanks for handling the setup, Justin...

I just hosted a pre-practice practice session if anyone wants to join.

Does the headset show up as a sound device in windows? It should be a drop down item on the sound config page in the iracing settings.

Im open for anytime. A race time earlier than 8est would be really tough for me. My .02

Also I know there was some chatter of Sunday night races. not sure if that is a better option to accommodate everyone for a large turnout.

We could do a second season and instead of doing a practice and race each week we could do two races. A Wednesday night season and a Sunday night season, separate points, same tracks (or different), just an idea.

I'm going to be on Sunday's and Wednesday's regardless., and most likely 2-3 other days of the week too.

Fun stuff tonight, good clean racing everybody! After the race I finally realized my voice chat has been disabled ever since I got back into iRacing in December....all this time I had been wondering why nobody seemed to be using mic's anymore...

ROFLS. I am not seeing the "most exciting racer option" so I am going to cobble together what I can and get it uploaded here soon.
