Where to source brake job tool bits in Canada?
Am doing pads and rotors on friends Turbo and we have sourced a T-50 6-point from Sears but NOBODY (Napa, Crap Tire, Auto Value, Princess, Parts Source) in Calgary seems to have a T-50 12 point nor the XZN 16mm triple square bit. Ideas??

Snapon.com ... you'll have it in a couple of days.
Hell, even Amazon sells a XZN kit:
http://www.amazon.com/Vim-Products-V...3716244&sr=8-1
I believe Canada is still in the free world - FedEx and UPS should still ship there.

Just finished the front pads and rotors. Went with StopTech slotted, and Hawk HPS high performance street pads. Being my first time I was skeptical of all the how easy it is comments. Two hours and I was done with both. Biggest issue I had was getting a 21mm socket, eventually just bought a 19-24 set at walmart. So FYI to 18ZR CTT's, you need a 21mm socket to get the caliper off.

Let us know how the slotted rotors work w/ the Hawk pads.

Thank you...
I just changed out the brakes and rotors on the front end of my '06 Cayenne S. The write-up was excellent, and if you have ever changed out pads/rotors on any Porsche, the Cayenne was the easiest!
I bought all my parts at Suncoast in Portland and with and all in (shipping) - the price was within spitting distance of sourcing bits and pieces here and there (I'm a fan).
