Before I start... (Engine Removal 1)
Before I start removing the engine of my C4S for a LWF and a few maintenance works, I'd like to thank all of you who gave me precious advises and informations on what to do and expect in such a DIY job.
In the next pictures, I present you the special tools I bought, transformed or modified for that purpose. (All comments are welcome).
My Porsche is a childhood dream, but I like mechanic too, and I'm almost as excited tonight before starting my project that I was the night before buying my car! But the later would never have happened without Rennlist !
Thanks too all! I'll keep you informed on my progress.

Hi Kelly,
I'll try to do my best to be clear enough in the thread's title to make it clear on what step it's on.
I have also prepared a book to take notes when working, and my camera is ready!
Rennlist gives me a lot, and I'll be more than happy if I can come up in return with something very helpful on the subject.
Cheers

well I did find that lift in Germany for 200€! Not cheap but looks and feel very strong. I hope it will be easy to use. Here is the link. BTW the guy (Ulrich) is very nice.
