Default Motec I2 Pro and tyre temps

Hello

I have installed tyre temps sensors and now trying to set up the i2pro, i have problems with the Math channel

i have 16ch on each tires and i was thinking that divide them in to 3..

Tyre temp inner 5ch
Tyre temp middle 6ch
Tyre temp outer 5ch

So im trying to do a math channel that is like this

temp1+temp2+temp3+temp4+temp5 / 5 this shoudl give me a avrage off the 5 temp channels but it doesnt work

what im im doing wrong.?

Before you pick what to average, I would suggest checking how the sensor hits the tire. Most of the installs I have seen do not center the sensor at the perfect distance, perfectly centered, etc. Once the sensor is mounted, experiment to see which zone are hitting the tire in different areas and then figure out what to average. You might see that some zones are missing the tire completely. Depending on how you mounted the sensors, you might lose some with suspension movement as well.

On the front, don't remove (turn off) as they might become useful with the wheels turned.
