What is the consensus for this AIM setup for AX:

1. Set DL in Point to Point mode and set start and finish lines using SoloDL during course walk.

2. Set in Circuit mode and let system start/stop with Speed/RPM. In post processing remove gridding, etc. and add definitive start/finish lines.

Any tricks for getting the SCHD to start/stop with the SoloDL? Set Start and Stop triggers for logger. I've seen limited commentary online that SCHD start/stop may be unreliable with some delays.

If Option 1 is not available (e.g., no time or opportunity to log start/finish on course walk) or triggering seems to be missing, what is the best setup for Option 2?

Specifically, Circuit mode or PP mode and trigger on Speed or Speed/RPM, etc.
SmartyCam still trigger from logger? or otherwise?

Can't explain the anecdotal suggestion of irregular recording. You set it, and forget it.

If there ANY question, set it for logger control and trim it later.
