Default AIM Solo question: how to select the correct track configuration

Question for the AIM Solo gurus.

I was at Thunderhill yesterday and on startup the AIM Solo gave me a choice of the 3 tracks: Thunderhill West, Thunderhill Park and Thunderhill Long.

I initially selected the wrong configuration and when I noticed my mistake then was no longer able to change that.

It had no impact on recording the laptimes, but in the video now has the wrong track map.

2 questions:
a) when you know that you picked the wrong configuration is there a way to tell the AIM Solo to change it?
b) is there a way to render the videos again with the correct track map?

Thanks & Happy Sunday

You can not change the video file, as that is written real time.

To change the track config, you have to go into the menu and change it. I don't have one to look at now, but it's something like menu>settings>track, then you can select the track you are at.

i use manual mode on the smarty for this reason. i have maps in the smarty and the solo for all the different configs. when you go to a track like thunder hill or willow or button willow (or spring mountain, the worst for this) where they have different tracks or configs it's a crap shoot if it selects the right one.

Use map manager to create meaningful names on the smarty and solo of the track configs. Pretty easy to do once you have the map files created.

Then when you get there just select the right track on the smarty. The solo will prompt you for the track on startup.

Keep in mind: Smarty needs the track maps on the smarty for the overlays. The Solo needs the track maps for the start/finish line. They don't share between the devices.
