Default What determines the plotting scale for a measure?

I find that I'm forced to reset the plotting scale on measures after importing a test. The plotting scales default to silly ranges (oil temp to 75-77 isn't very helpful). Driver profiles aren't forcing the ranges. Have I overlooked a channel/measure configuration value so measures like Oil Temp will auto plot with a relevant scale?

Right click the channel on the left and set the ranges. Chances are you auto scaled the OTemp and that's why it's doing that.

I haven't seen a way to set the scale like you could in RS2.

Is that a sensor setting in RS3?

I'm not sure I understand, Matt or Krista. your references to RS3 are non-sequitur.

Your screenshot is in RS2.

These directions (right click and set manual scale limits) are for analysis in RS2.

This will force your desired scaling over the saved profile or auto scaling. Or at least it does for me...

I took the question as "How do you set the predefined scale range in RS3 like you could in RS2?" The screen shot was just to show the scale range that was applied in RS2 Analysis.

Instead of having to autoscale or set the scale in Analysis, you could set the display range in RS2 for all the legacy products in the initial setup.

Peter - does this have to be done each time a test is opened? This is what I'm finding and looking to circumvent via higher level/master setting.
