Long shot - anyone have wgi nascar maps?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking for. But since the start-finish line has not moved you will still be getting lap times on the shorter course. You will need to create a new track map to see segment times, etc.

1:07.0 track record... <evil grin>
Just use the Short Chute between the exit of long course T5 and entry of T10

I'm guessing he wants a GPS or track segment map. I don't have one, but the course uses the same start/finish. If you use AiM, after your first session, go into GPS manager, make a new track called Watkins Glen Short, use the same GPS points as the regular track, and use the gpk file from your first session for the on screen track map. Then re-transmit to your SC.

Geneman,
Yes, the boot is closed, as I understand it. And the whole track will be closed immediately after Nascar on Aug. 9. I'm there with NNJR the weekend before Nascar on the short circuit.
To "un hijack" this thread, I am also looking for a short course map for my SC--though I do appreciate Matt's instructions. But the camera is brand new to me (used) and WG will be my first event so I'm trying to minimize the setup, etc.

I created the file. Can't get it to work on my sc hd2 though. SC still picks wgi full.

Yes we do. Drop me a note and I can email it to you or simply update your GPS Manager database under the 'Options' pull-down menu inside the GPS Manager software using the 'Import Tracks from AiM Website' option.
