Default AiM new RS3 3.64.00 details

There was an important update in RS3 yesterday that has the potential to catch some users. As the product line has expanded, people have asked to not be required to download all the FW and graphics for each product. They recently separated these out, so when you go to the download cloud (1) you then have to pick both the FW and the graphic resources (2) that you want on your computer. If you only own one product, you can save some room on your HD by only downloading your products info.

I got excited about the changed design, but. It saves 1 mouse click, and still notifies me of updates I don't care about.

Ideally, the user could select the devices they want monitored, and those selections would be persistent between closing and starting RS3. And the cloud icon at the top would be active only when devices of interest need updated.

Just FYI.....

Loaded the new version of RS3 this morning, 3.64.01. Have experienced continual hard crashes (frozen screen) on my Windows 10 PC since then. No other software updates have been performed, and haven't had a hard system freeze in years. Nothing shows up in the Windows Event Viewer that would explain the crash.

Will send this message to AiM Support and update here if they respond.

Update on RS3 version 3.64.01

No response from AiM but I loaded the beta version 3.64.02 and it worked fine. So I started pulling things out of my setup of 3.64.01 and found that removing some of the custom math channels prevented the crashes. Not sure which ones, or why, but will advise if I figure out what caused the issue. BTW, I did check the RS3 logs after tweaking the "log-options.txt" file but the system crashed each time before anything was logged.
