Porsche Track Precision App continues

or perhaps your lap video loaded into a vector database and run through AI? I (and probably you) foresee great things, not just “faster horses”. I’ll bet Garmin or AiM or any of the other big guns are working in that direction. Coupled with the fact that cars are now really more data generators, collectors and analyzers than they are transportation the possibilities are endless. Maybe a car that will drive its fastest lap for you to learn from……

Thanks.
I tried a Dual precision GPS puck the first two sessions. The app confirmed it was using an external source, but the app never saw that I crossed the start-finish line. So I gave up on the Dual puck, and just went with the phone or the car - not sure which the app uses when the phone is connected to the car on wifi. The problem I am seeing, however, is not the 1Hz issue which I have always had, it is much worse - like only getting 10 data points during an entire 2-minute lap (just looked at it again this morning).
1Hz was useful to some extent, but what I saw yesterday is not useful at all with such a slow data rate.
The app still shows data that is several years old, and I can still see the laps and data at the 1 Hz rate.
Another probably unrelated issue, but may indicate lack of QA on their software, is when I go to
I used Harry's laptimer for the last session with a Kiwi OBD2 dongle. Works pretty well, but I need to stabilize the phone - too much bouncing and it rotates and looks like an old Batman episode if anyone is old enough to remember that You can see in the video how the data lags - listen to sound of gear shifts and watch the throttle.

- settings > language it crashes the app.
- Preparation (bottom, right) the top menu pick is in German as are all the topics once you click into it. The other two topics have English titles, but all text 'inside' is German
