Latest for live streaming video
Looking to potentially streaming on-board live. What the latest turn-key solution out there?
Race-Keeper appears to be one solution. Anything else? There is Sentinal and LiveU, but I think we would need to complete the system ourselves.
Car currently only has an AiM MXL dash and no cams. Track is Thunderhill, so not sure of cell coverage either.

Sentinal is all in one and includes the modem. It's also the easy button. That is the easy button. You can do a Vbox (if you can find one) with a LiveU. AiM has the SC3 Dual coming that will work with the LiveU too. Then there is a host of other options that are more involved.

Not a fan of the Sentinal system. Good support, for sure. None of these systems are cheap, including the Sentinal, but their display reminds me of the CDS video add-on and MoTeC VCS from the mid-2000’s.
Most top line (including Trans Am and Porsche SuperCup) teams use a bulletproof LiveU with two separate modems and bonding (sending signals over two cell networks and recombining at the server, then steaming on the internet. I’ve seen 1-3 seconds latency (usually 5-10 seconds) and so it works well. Most are used with VBOX. And yes, you can get them from a variety of dealers.
Another choice is GPX Stream, Jeff Siegel’s system. That works great!
As matt says, super important to get good support and the three are all well supported.
If you wan to do it yourself, you can do an RMTP setup with the old Yi+ or streaming cameras with encoders to a cheap cell modem. Also, there is always FaceTime with a simple camera…

We used Sentinel in both cars last year at Thunderhill, and worked out well. It's easy to install/use, is pretty reliable, continuous updates/features, etc. The drawback mentioned above would be the 'dated' look of the graphics/overlays. They have new compatibility with Aim data systems, so we are about to install that and play with those features. We should be running a live stream from Sentinel again at Laguna Seca on Monday and Thunderhil again in December.
