Default AiM Seminars going ONLNE!

This is something lots of people have asked for and it's now going to happen. Roger is putting together a series of webinars. The first one is coming up. I'm even more excited to be on a few with him in the coming weeks. Some great topics are coming.....

This first session will on data download and will feature Robbie and Cameron of AiM Sports. These guys are the masterminds and hands behind those beautiful harness that I sell and have posted photos of on Rennlist.

When: Mar 31, 2020 10:00 AM Pacific\1:00pm Eastern (US and Canada)

Topic: Race Studio 3 Data Download Options

Register in advance for this webinar at:
https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_...QDOodZdVjlEs1g

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the free webinar.

Description: In this webinar we will be discussing the Race Studio 3 Data Download options. There are several important options we will discuss and provide suggested settings that will make the downloading of your AiM data logger easier and more efficient.
During the presentation we will be taking questions. Co-hosting this webinar is AiM Sports SuperTechs Robbie Yeoman and Cameron Bennett answering your questions along with your webinar host Roger Caddell, AiM Sports National Training Manager. They had to increase the capacity for the webinar from 100 (sold out) to 500. Pretty awesome and I've been telling more people to sign up. If you want to be in live, sign up so you can have all the details and ask questions live.

I have really been enjoying Roger's webinars.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, 10am West Coast/1PM East Coast.

Well worth the time.

Matt, I haven't seen you yet. I see Roger, Mike, Cameron, and I forgot the other guys name, but no Matt R yet.

When are you gonna be on the panel?

I could tell you the date, but then I'd have to kill you and Roger would kill me. But they are coming up. Some other guests and really great topics too. One tentative one that will be extra popular.

These started out pretty slow but the last one was quite good and I found it interesting - I'm looking forward to the upcoming "how to actually use data effectively" topics versus "how to set up RaceStudio" topics.

Peter's video had some great info for folks and the public share of RS3 Analysis was great! People are really going to like some of the features in it.

Peter pointed out how he watches the video and writes down min/max speeds. If you're an AiM user, check out this video on how you can do the same thing, but with a couple clicks of a button. Save it as a profile and it's one click. Download your data, click a button, and have your min speeds on a map!

https://youtu.be/RLYVo6oO4EM

Great map showing colored brake pressure and minimum speeds for the corners.

Love that track report! Thanks, Matt.

As you know and advocate yourself with making your own track notes post session, the conscious review and notation of traffic, car position and control inputs in the video, as you write it down in order, can add context no 2D page or sheet can match for most, in my experience.

Peel that onion!

RS3A will be a blessing, for sure.

Using these maps for notes is great! I actually include a few maps like this in my track books (lat G, corner radius, max speeds, etc). They are great for writing notes on, using as a future reference, etc.

My point with this is that I find using the data to make this map is far more efficient in the time between sessions than watching a lap and trying to see the minimum speed for each corner and recording it in a chart. But, YMMV (lol). In the end, it's whatever the person is comfortable with and learns from the best.

Tuesday with James Clay on track elevation and topography will be great and one of your favorite topics!

I've used your track note books with maps for The Glen between sessions this past season (red cover notebook).

Great way to take notes in certain corners with things you need to work on. I did this right after each session ended and then compared the notes with the data later that evening.

Funny how some of the notes I took matched up exactly with the Data from the Aim in terms of where I thought I did something wrong (back to power to soon, later apex, trailed in too long, etc.)

That simple little red notebook. Woulda thought....
