I know I'm a data geek, but I think lots of people will like the features added in todays RS3 Analysis beta webinar. There are some that have been long asked for and some really neat new ones! Hope to see folks there.

Downloading the beta for 3.50.28 now (I was using the dev copy before). Great updates. I really like the separate measures in windows, colored XY plots, and highlighted min/max.
I didn't see you comment at all and didn't think you were on. You'll like it.

I saw it crash once too, but it’s a beta... My dev was getting pretty long in the tooth.
Seriously, it’s nice to see it get more refined. Still missing some critical tools for everyday use, namely sector time analysis (with synced video hopefully), but it’s coming along.

You weren’t looking at the chat. I even agreed with some of your cheerleading.

Great feature set with some new analysis methods for AiM users.

OK, this thread persuaded me to try the beta again, it does seem to have improved which is encouraging.
First question, how do you disable laps? In RS2A I typically disable in/out laps to clear up my Story Board but I can't see it here. It would seem having them de-selected in the main window should do it, but it only affects the graph on the bottom right.
My other immediate annoyance is I use Space and CTRL+ Space in RS2A to hide and show the Channels List and Story Board. Now the CTRL modifier doesn't work and the RS3A settings have "press space to hide" enabled for three functions by default, Channels List, Track Map, and Story Board.

I thought I would continue my cheerleading and post about tomorrow's session. TV personality Larry McReynolds! He's going to discuss NASCAR over the years and now they now have data in the cars as well. It should be a great show and because Larry has a TV commitment that goes until 1:15, the first 15 minutes will be filled with the Roger and Robbie show! If that's not enough, I'm promised that side bite will be discussed!

Larry McReynolds is a crew chief and car set up wizard and one of the most successful team owners in NASCAR, way before he was a TV analyst.
He’s been one of the most innovative engineers in the sport, a man who commands universal respect.
He’s been a driving force for data in optimizing cars for longer than most people know. Yes, they used data in testing long after NASCAR “banned” the use of data... Now they use a McLaren Electronics dash and ECU. It’s the reason why MoTeC Systems, the US importer, is in Mooresville. I’ve seen $100K installs, with hundreds of sensors and incredible custom harnesses in these cars for testing. Amazing.
Also, Larry brought over engineers from F1 to help their NASCAR effort. A whole bunch followed!
It’ll be a good one.
