Default MXL2 and PLX DM-6 Wideband 02

Has anyone been able to capture 02 reading from the PLX to AIM MXL2?
I'm new to AIM and have much to figure out. Thx

A quick read of the manual doesn't show that there's a 0-5V output from the DM-6. You'd need that to data log it...

Hopefully you can get a little bit more of a manual for the pinout of the left hand connector. This page says it has an analog output on that connector https://www.plxdevices.com/Wideband-...7346002719.htm and it has the formulas for the voltage output. You'll need to wire the 5v output of the PLX to an analog input of your MXL2. Then you'll create a custom sensor for the 5v input scale and assign it to that channel. If all goes well, Bob's your Uncle and you have lambda (or AFR) readings.

Yep. Very straightforward.

Buy an AiM 719-719 Binder patch cable in the length between the PLX connector Matt points out to the MXL2 harness.

Plug the patch cable into the dash harness, cut the other end plastic connector off and connect the WHITE signal input (to the logger) to the 0-5v output pin Matt references in the PLX instructions, you can also connect the black wire to ground. Insulate the blue and red so they can’t touch anything.

Create a custom sensor and call it PLX, following the voltage-to-Lamda (or AFR) curve of the PLX output, save it and, in a COPY of your current configuration, associate it with the channel in the MXL2 the PLX output is connected to, then Transmit the copy with the PLX channel in it.

With the car running, connect to the MXL2, go to Live Measures and confirm the reading is what you see on the gauge.

Just check my MXL2, I'm out of 719-719 ports, but have unused analog. No no need to cut the cord

Thx for the info. Will give it a try this winter!!
