Solo DL/Smarty Cam No video
I reinstalled my system last week and got no video all weekend. SD card is in place, the data logger is acting normally. No files on the SD card. Changed logger to camera cable today and nothing changed. Camera turns on and is charged. Any ideas on what to check?

Check the basics. Make sure the write only tab is correct. Also make sure when you start the SCHD that the card write check doesn't say to format the card. Double check the cable ends are in the correct spot with good pins (not bent).

All good advice. Use a FAT32 formatted card, 32 GB and less come that way. Check to see that your getting GPS info (bars in the preview screen) from the Solo DL. Check the record trigger and try Logger Command, then Speed.

SCHD card check O.K., cable ends and pins good. GPS bars good. I tried both of my SD cards which have only been used in SCHD. Data logger recorded all of my usual data. Start/Stop settings are unchanged and look correct. I disconnected SCHD from all cables and tried to run it manually. It started O.K. and I took a 1 minute video and I waited for it to write before powering down. Nothing recorded on SD. Logger and SCHD were disconnected at the end of last season and stored in heated house. I don't know how to check write only tab and am not familiar with Logger Command.

SD cards have a little tab on the left side (about 1/3 the way back from the insert end) that is the write protect tab. It's supposed to be at the front to allow writing, but I believe if it's back, it won't pass the card check. It seems weird it said it was writing ok and nothing was there.

Try another card, besides the two you have.

The issue was not SD card or AiM hardware. My "Computer Manager", on the advice of our antivirus software supplier, disabled the ability of my laptop to download data from portable media (SD card). Undid it and all is well.

Hahahaha! Good.
Happy outcome and nothing to do with AiM Sports!
