Solo DL configuration for Cayman S
The car is a 2006 Cayman S. The RaceStudio Device Configuration menu shows two possible ECU options: CAYMAN_ABS_M4 and 997_987_MK2_OBDII. Which one is correct? I tried the latter but it doesn't seem to datalog all the parameters that it's supposed to.

Considering that you have a MK1 instead of a MKII, there’s no wonder!
The best protocol to use, IMO, is the direct-wire CAN connection to the appropriate twisted pair of wires near the fuse box.
That would be ECU: Bosch Model: 997_GT3 This matches the ECU signals sent from your MK1 car. OBDII is extremely limited in the pre 2009 model car.
