Default GPS map issue

I'm trying to compare data from my recent track day at Auto Club Speedway with another driver. If I pull up only my session, I can click on the GPS window and get the GPS map. However, if I then open the other driver's data, I no longer have the option of opening up a GPS map. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

FYI for those of you keeping track of all my problems, I have a brand new computer with the latest version of RS2 downloaded.

There are four files made for every run. If you have only your friends .drk file and NOT also his .gpk file, yours will show the GPS map, but his will be greyed out.

To properly share tests (or all necessary files for full functionality), either copy and paste all four files with the same name (but different file extension) out of your C:/AIM/Racestudio2/Data folder (or something like that) or open the Race Studio Analysis Test Database and select the run you want, then click export on the bottom and save to a location where you can attach to an email or put it on a USB stick.

What Peter said or right click the session you want to share and select email. Then take at software@aim and put in whatever you want. Just make sure the attached files aren't' too big.

Matt, in cases where the default email client is set to a program or app that's not set up, it goes into a death spiral when I try to do that.

For instance, I don't have Gmail setup as my default email client (even though that's what I use and that's set up to send and receive), so when I do that trying to right click and send, it opens Outlook, which I haven't set up nor will I use.

That's why I suggested just exporting to a known location and then attaching the files to whatever email you're sending. Darned computers, can't live with them...

Interesting. I've not had that problem. Easy setting - right click the Windows Icon > Apps and Features (top choice) > Defualt Apps. Then just change them to what you want.

I use this feature all the time. Certainly worth setting up for anyone that shares files through email. The only problem is on new loggers, the files can get pretty big. I have some .xrk that are 30 mb, so not email friendly.

So I have all of my friend's 4 files in a folder on my desktop. I opened RS2 and imported the file (it shows only one file, but from what I understand from watching the AiM video the other files are there but just don't show).
However, the GPS is still grayed out.
Anything I can do to figure out why apparently the GPS file isn't being imported?
