Apologies in advance for the shameless self promotion, but I felt that there may be some genuine interest here. It really was a great ride

Translation (as we are often seperated by a common language)
1. Peter Brock roughtly eqautes to A.J. Foyt or Dale Earnhardt ( except he is still breathing)
2. A Monaro is sold in the US as a Pontiac (?) GTO
3. Mt. Buller is the Melbourne answer to Whistler in Canada. The sprint hillclimb is loosely modelled on Pikes Peak/Queenstown Goldrush, except Australian motorsport regs make it simpler to run as if it were a tarmac rally.
