Default porsche 911 carrera rs 2.7 (1973) for rally

I drive rally´s for a few years now in a Peugeot 205 gti. 1.9 (gr.N). Now i have the idea to switch to a porsche 911 carrera rs 2.7 (1973) for historic rally´s. I have not the budget to buy a real one but a replica complying to FIA homologations the 3053 (gr.3) porsche carrera RS 2687cc 01/07/1973 or 637 (gr.4) porsche carrera RS 2687cc 01/07/1973 is affordable (i hope) and will do fine for 3-4 historic rally´s per year. btw historic often do the same rally´s as the modern cars here in Holland. so it´s real rallying!

I want to know what other models that are easier and cheaper to get are good foor this purpose. So this is what i already know. The bodywork is the same as the 70-73 coupe. The engine is the same as the later 2.7 carrera´s. But what about the suspension, brakes, interior, and other important parts that i need to comply to the fia homologation. What about upgrading an older engine, etc etc.

Does anyone have these homologation forms and could anyone give me some advise on this?

Thank you very much!

A friend competes in classic rallies in a RHD 2.7. he may be able to help you.

What events can you do in europe, rallies like Ypres?
