Default Impressed by the variety of wax on the market

I was shopping on eshine.ca for a good wax for my 993. It's much more complex than I thought! Different wax for protection type, results, car color, etc. With other cars, I was OK with a $20 wax from Walmart but I wanted something better for my 993 that is going out from winter storage.

On eshine.ca, there are waxes from 30$ to 2000$. Most of them are around 200$ for 8oz. Is there a significant difference to justify the price variance?

Which product has a good quality for the price?

Thanks!

Pinnacle Souveran is still one of my favorites. I've compared it to many and I still buy it.

Proper prep and paint correction is more important than the final step (wax or sealant) product.

A proper correction and the $20 Walmart wax and your car will look awesome.

A wash and a little prep followed by the $2,000 wax and your car will look less than ok.

I am happy with Meg 105 / 205 / Mezerna 4500.

I only use the 105 if there are heavy swirls.

I just did the Audi last weekend and I couldn't stop staring.

Wash
Clay
Rewash
Multi stage polish paint correction
Rewash
Alcohol wipe down
Wax/sealant

Depending on your paint's condition, this is well over 20 man hours. The above is very abridged.

I agree with the prep work comments, but I also feel like a good wax helps a great deal after the prep. I like Swissvax Concorso and Endurance, I also like P21S Concours wax.

You could also do well with the Klasse twins, All in One and then Sealant.
