Default Settle a bet for me.

I had some rainwater spots in my finish, so I removed them with P21S Paint Cleanser then applied my sealeant. My buddy says that I don't need to apply sealant after using a paint cleaner because the cleaner does not remove the sealant. I call BS.

Who is correct?

What's the point of a cleanser if it doesn't remove what is on the surface of the paint? I can tell you for a fact that P21S Paint Cleanser removes a very very small amount of paint when you use it. I know because I have applied it to single stage paints. I also know for fact that one of the cars I was working on had a sealant on it.

So are you willing to share some of your winnings on this bet!

P21S Paint Cleanser will do exactly what it states: to clean the paint surface of any contaminents including previous waxes / sealants.

After "cleaning" you must apply a wax or sealant to protect your new shine.

As said above, to get to the paint surface you have to remove existing sealant.
