Default Another vote for Poli-Seal and Opti-Seal

Thanks to Anthony and Iceman (Brian) for recommending these products. They are so easy to use, especially the Opti-Seal.

One coat Poli, four coats Opti. All by hand.

Lookin good

They are very easy to use and a great combo.....detailing products have come along way from the days of "Blue Coral" and "Dupont" days eh?

Yes, my old SOP was 3M Imperial Hand Glaze followed by One Grand Blitz Wax. This was much quicker and easier.

I'd still like to get a machine to better remove the hairline scratches, but I'm pretty pleased with the results as is.

VERY NICE.....damm that looks SWEET......okay your making me feel quilty since mine only has two coats of OS on it....... It does seem easier to apply on clear coat cars too....on mine (single stage) it left a bit of hazing, which was mostly my fault for applying it so thick....I just did my wifes acura...it looks SICK....let me see if I can find a post!

Very nice! I used to use 3m Glaze and Blitz Wax too! I've used Poli Seal, but not the Opti Seal. Why use both, since Poli Seal is a sealant?

Did you happen to do that red Taurus too - looks very shiny, and it's a very similar color!?

Iceman-The Acura looks great. I'm sure your wife is pleased. I wish my wife drove a smaller vehicle rather than a SUV. Those things take forever to detail.

AndyK-I use the Opti-Seal for a little more gloss and slickness, although it's not absolutely necessary. Can't claim credit for the Taurus, but I noticed that as well.

Here's a closer shot of the left rear quarter...

Excellent! Very wet looking! And, I love D90's with 928s, they just go well with the body of the cars. Hate the D90's on just about any other Porsche though!

How you had the energy to put a total of 5 coats of wax/seal on your car is beyond me!
