Default Good paste wax recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a good paste wax that would cost say under $25 or so? I used my friend's Pinnacle paste wax, but at $80 that's pretty steep! How is Mequiar's Gold past wax?

Thanks!

Default Optimum wax

I know it's not a paste wax, but once you try it, you wont want to mess with paste waxes again. I have used all the big names, Nattys, Pinnacle, Blitz, P21S, Pink, etc, and I would never go back.

For $15, what have you got to lose?

P21S is among the best. For something different, I've also used 3m's Pefect-it paste with incredible results. I really like it a lot, but it's hard to find.

Of course, one advantage of Pinnacle Souveran is that it doesn't generate dust nor does it stain black trim pieces white.
One can should last you quite a while, as it is applied thin.

I really like Meguiar's #26 paste wax- and their NXT wax is very good also.

Of course wax we use is a little like politics, we all have our views. It is all about prepartation, not just the wax.

I agree the 3M wax dollar for dollar is great. I like P21 for concours events. Despite with all people say with designer waxes, if you go high end the differences (except for silicon) are subjective by paint quality, and individual. As we all have our own preferences what is easiest and "best" wax. It is great we have so many good choices.

I'll take a photo of my wax closet and let you shoot questions at me. I strongly agree that its very subjective. I could polish one car up with Zaino's and another with P21S and you couldn't tell them apart.
