Waiting time before waxing
I recently had my front/rear bumper resprayed to remove rock chips and scratches. I wanted to know how long should I wait prior to waxing? Is there a cure time that is needed for the paint to adhere 100%?
TIA

I get alot of flack from people for this BUT.....if your wax contains no heavy solvents then you can wax the car usually about 24 hours after repainting.
Wax is such a thin layer and it won't block the outgassing.
The painter and the paint reps say..."wait 30 days" but this is to cover their butts. Most paint warranties last under 30 days.
Paste waxes are best, like Trade Secret, P21S, Optimum wax and a wax made by Valugard.

Got my LR back from collison repair. My paint guy said not to wax it for 60 days. I tend to trust him as he does a lot of exotic cars and is the 3rd best paint guy in the Province of Ontario. Just my experiance.
