Default Polishing-------ANthony

How often do you polish an automobile before applying a wax or sealent? I am currently using menzerna products and have quite a bit left.(I will try optimum products soon). Should I polish more often???
Current procedures:
----------------------------
Every 4-6 Months

Engine
wheels
Wash
Trim
Poly clay
Intensive polish...If needed
Final Polish II
FMJ-- Seems to last about this long
Souverin Wax after 2-3 day cure
-------------------------------
Every 1-2 weeks depending on condition.
Wipe down engine
Wheels
Wash
Wax if needeed

You'll only want to polish as needed. I polish my clients cars, the daily drivers, about every 3 months. The garage queens maybe every 6 months, some yearly.

Menzerna Final Polish is a great super fine polish that can be used more often because of its low abrasives.

Optimum Polish is slightly more abrasive but also very gentle on paint.
