Default Car cover following paint job

How much time should I wait before putting a cover on a freshly painted car? Same as wax, 45+ days?

Thanks.

Covering the car should be no problem as long as there is no trapped moisture and as long as it's not being stored like that 24/7.

Due to the onset of winter, the car would be garage stored immediately following paint up until April/May. That being the case, I'd assume I should leave the cover off until the New Year or so?

I'd wait until the paint had out-gassed (didn't smell) before covering it - it's still pretty vulnerable until then. You can use space heaters to speed up the process if you want, keeping the ambient temperature around the car at 70 degrees F or so for a while.

NO NO NO....DO not cover the car for at least 6 MONTHS...! Unless you want solvent popping....! THe paint must dry or be able to breath for at least 6 months......SAme with waxing....You can polish but not wax.....
