Default How do I remove old overspray?

Hi All,
I have owned my 93 RS America for 2 years now. It has been resprayed at some point in it's life. The paint job has been called "very good" by some professional painters... except for overspray on the ?-pillars (pillars beside the windshield).

I was told to try a clay bar, but it didn't work.

I suspect that it may require sandpaper, but don't know what grit to start with and what grit to end with.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Erick

I actually tried that... but it didn't seem to help at all. Maybe the overspray is too old or baked onto the paint?

The only thing that I can think to do is sand and polish. But I'm afraid!

Thanks.

Erick
