Best detailer in North Jersey
Other than the guys in Chatham, who is highly recommended for detailing in North Jersey? I'd like my car gone over before the Hershey meet in April.

Daiman,
What type of detail and cost does the Chattam guy do.
I have a guy in Bellville who clayed my car, compounded in certain areas, polish, and waxed the car for $85. (just for the outside detailing).
I must say that it lasted a good 8 months requiring only a wash and touch up with the Meguiers quick detailer to get the shine back to life.
I must say that I'll definatly get at least an ouside detail before hershey.
Ricardo.

Jaws, it's spelled Belleville-maybe that'll work. It's next to Bloomfield, and the GSP goes alongside it.
Riccardo, I'm having the car gone over the week before Hershey-I'm using a guy in Verona-I'll let you know how it turns out, you'll see it at the meet. It's costing an arm and a leg, but the guy is supposed to be a genius. And he likes Speed Yellow, so I'm guessing he's bringing his A game!

Jaws,
Sorry for the late response.
The guy I go see in Bellevielle is Billy's Showroom Finish.
Last year he clayed my car, compounded certain spots and polished and waxed it.
The results were great and lasted for about seven months only requiring the finishing spray stuff from Meguiars to finish the wet look.
Billy can be reached @ 1-866-Detail-1

I just had my Black Metallic 993TT done at Beverly Hills auto spa in Basking Ridge. The guy does a fair amount of P-cars. This is the first time I've had someone other than myself detail my car. I had just bought the car and didnt have the time to do a full cleaner-polish-wax. I also had a couple of imperfections in the paint that I was unsure that I could get out myself. The guy is not cheap ( I paid $600 for a full detail including a wheels off wheelwell and wheel polish, interior, engine and some assorted imperfection spots--a regular inside/out is around $280) but was very effective for my needs. I would use them again. This kind of detail is NOT enough for concours competition. Before the first concours, I will be attacking the door jambs, panel joints, emblems, latches, seats etc etc
